Discover CADAC's most quintessential barbecue. The Skottel Braai is more than just a barbecue, the range comprises of a piece of CADAC's 75 year history.
CADAC is famous for developing the Skottel Braai, which originated from South African farmers using a plough shear over a fire to cook an outdoor meal. The Skottel is perfect for cooking a wide variety of outdoor meals… from traditional breakfasts, paellas, sausages, eggs, stir fries and many other dishes. Used with the pot stand, the BBQ acts as a cooker to boil water and accomodate pots upto 30cm. Exceptionally versatile, robust and portable, the Skottel Braai weighs under 6kg.

The first choice to make is the one between charcoal, gas or electric. It is forbidden to barbecue on charcoal at many campsites in Europe. An electric barbecue quickly consumes 2400 watts of electricity, which is way too much for most campsites. In addition, it must always be in the vicinity of an electrical outlet. Gas barbecues are therefore the most suitable barbecues to take with you on vacation.

EASY CLEAN
Our camping barbecues have a removable, enameled grease collection tray, which can be easily lifted out for cleaning. Our grill grids, plates, and pans are simple to clean thanks to the ceramic non-stick coating. Both the grease tray and most cooking surfaces are dishwasher-safe but can also be cleaned with a sponge and soapy water!
